Excellent scanner! Reviews Uniden BC72XLT Handheld Scanner Black

It isn't the easiest thing to program, but once you get the hang of it, it is a snap. I use it to scan railroad and emergency frequencies. This Uniden BC72XLT Handheld Radio Scanner unit is perfect for smaller cities which use frequencies betweem 153.0000 and 169.0000 for their police communications. The unit is also good for tracking airport traffic and, as you know by now, NASCAR events.
Looking for great deals & best buy on Uniden BC72XLT Handheld Radio Scanner
The price was very reasonable and it was well worth the money. I don't go a day without listening to it and it goes everywhere with me. The only negative thing about it is the batteries don't last long and when I have it in the car, the signal isn't very strong.

Reviews Uniden BCD396XT Handheld TrunkTracker IV Digital Police Scanner

This Uniden BCD396XT Handheld TrunkTracker IV scanner is great. Don't be fooled by the reviews about it being hard to program. It has a lot of features you will not use, but it's better then not enough features. Also, programming manually is advanced, but very easy to do with the open source software FreeScan and a RadioReference Account!
2013 BEST REVIEWS OF Uniden BCD396XT Handheld TrunkTracker IV Digital Police Scanner.
This is the top of the line legally available for civilians. It gets everything you can get legally. It's a bit pricey, but as the sign in the speed shop said, "Speed costs money - how fast do you wanna go?" Worth the money if you want to get everything.  But it's not that difficult to get up and scanning your local EVERYTHING if you do a little research. I have found RadioReference.com to be an invaluable source of information.

Best scanner for the price! Reviews Uniden Bearcat 500 Channel Alpha Numeric Hand Held Radio Scanner with CTCSS and DCS BC125AT

I've had the Uniden Bearcat 500 Channel Alpha Numeric BC125AT for several months now and have yet to find a serious flaw with it. If all you need/want is an analog non-trunking scanner, get this one. While you can program it without software, I strongly recommend getting it. Very good portable.
A reasonable price Uniden Bearcat 500 Channel Alpha Numeric Hand Held Radio Scanner with CTCSS and DCS (BC125AT)

Very good reception, sound is very good, perfect size. Very easy to program with the free software you can download for it and not really that hard to do without. The sound quality from this unit is EXCELLENT, and while it is plenty loud for most circumstances, I use it in a loud environment, so a little more volume would be nice.
